Lilly’s Foundation and Brenner Children’s Hospital’s “Sibling Beads of Courage” Program

We are proud to announce that Lilly’s Foundation for Childhood Cancer will be sponsoring the ” Sibling Beads of Courage” program at Brenner Children’s Hospital. The sibling program is a kit that is given to the family. It uses animals and special virtues to represent different emotions that the siblings may face. Hopefully it will encourage communication among the sibling and their parents as to how they are coping with a brother or sister with a chronic illness. This program will begin and the kits given out during a Sibling workshop that we are planning for 2012. More details and dates to come.
